Shubert Collin Associés is a French law firm established in Paris in 1990.
We have considerable expertise in the area of international business transactions, particularly between the United States and France, and a substantial part of our practice is devoted to advising foreign companies from the US and elsewhere with respect to their operations within, or in relation to France.
Our clients are small businesses as well as international groups, some of them publicly-listed, from industrials (public works equipment, food products, cosmetics, electronic equipment…) to services (software edition and consulting, telecoms, engineering, vending machines, ship owners, vocational training, audit and certification…) or public institutions.
We also advise individuals on legal and tax aspects of the management of their assets, including the acquisition or assignment of assets and their transfer. Our goal is to guide foreign clients through all aspects of doing business in France; to deliver premier legal services with the proximity, responsiveness and cost efficiency which a small structure can provide. We also accompany our French clients in developping their activities in North American, mainly the US through a wide network of tried and true legal professionals.
The firm is a member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of Chicago and Detroit as well as the American Chamber of Commerce of Paris (AmCham).
Each of the Firm’s lawyers is specialized in one or several particular areas of business law: commercial law; corporate law; mergers and acquisitions; information technology and intellectual property; labor law; tax law; but also in commercial, labor and tax litigation. The Firm provides a global approach to clients’ needs, depending on their size and on their specific areas of activity.
